CitiNET WiFi — Terms of Use

By purchasing or using CitiNET WiFi, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service

CitiNET provides WiFi internet access through time-based and package-based plans. Package prices, duration, device limits and availability are displayed before purchase.

2. Voucher Purchases

Please verify your package, location, duration and device option before payment.

Once a voucher is successfully delivered or displayed, it is considered delivered and potentially compromised.

3. Refund Policy

No refunds are provided after successful voucher delivery, because delivered credentials may be copied, shared or used.

However, CitiNET will review refund or replacement requests where:

• payment was completed but no voucher was delivered;
• a voucher is invalid due to a CitiNET error;
• CitiNET cannot provide the purchased service; or
• a refund is required by applicable law.

4. Fair Usage

CitiNET WiFi is a shared network. Customers must use the service reasonably and must not deliberately interfere with network performance or other users.

We may limit or suspend access where necessary to protect the network from abuse, fraud, attacks or excessive usage that materially affects other customers.

5. Prohibited Use

You must not use CitiNET WiFi for unlawful activities, hacking, phishing, malware distribution, network attacks, unauthorised access or activities that disrupt our network or other users.

6. Network Availability

CitiNET targets 95% network availability. Service may be affected by power failures, upstream ISP outages, equipment failures, maintenance, weather or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

7. Payments

Online payments may be processed by third-party payment providers such as Paystack. CitiNET does not store your complete card details.

8. Account Security

You are responsible for protecting your account and voucher credentials. Do not share them publicly or with unauthorised persons.

9. Privacy

Your use of CitiNET is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use and protect your information.

10. Changes

CitiNET may update these Terms when necessary. The latest version will always be published on our website.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Depending on how you use CitiNET, we may collect:

2. What We Don't Collect

CitiNET does not intentionally inspect or collect the contents of your private communications, such as WhatsApp messages, personal emails, photos or files, simply because you are connected to our WiFi.

We may, however, process technical network information required to operate, secure and troubleshoot the network.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use information to:

• provide and authenticate WiFi access;
• process payments and deliver vouchers;
• manage customer accounts;
• provide customer support;
• monitor network performance and security;
• prevent fraud and abuse;
• improve our services; and
• comply with legal obligations.

4. Information Sharing

We may share necessary information with trusted service providers such as payment processors, hosting providers, email providers and technical service providers.

We may also disclose information where required by law or a valid legal request.

We do not sell customer personal information.

5. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect customer information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or disclosure.

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for service delivery, security, transaction records, dispute resolution and legal obligations.
